Where have I been?

It has been crazy around here. I have gone back to school. I started in 3/2007. I am attending the online program at ITT-Tech and am working towards a second Bachelor's degree. I have now completed 2 quarters (which is what they work in) and am in the beginning of my 3rd. I have managed to keep a 4.0 so far.

It has been really hard working a full time job and going back to school full time. I go to school for 12 weeks and then get 1 week off. Jubilee is learning to adjust but she doesn't like it very much. She says "Mommy. You not do homework." She is hilarious and just turned 4 at the end of August. Her new favorite TV show is the Doodlebops. She was trying to tell a knock-knock joke today and just ended up shreiking with laughter rather than really telling any kind of joke.

I have been trying to keep up with my knitting and have two projects going on right now. I got overly-zealous and decided to knit Jubi a purse but the proportions are so big it's more like a beach bag. She really likes it though because she can fill it up with toys. Another thing I'm making is a baby hat for a girl at work who is due in November. I love knitting hats because they are super easy. I will post the pictures of the Jubi-purse when it's done. All I have left to do is put handles on it!!

I will however tantalize you with a project that I did in between which was a baby bunny hat. I had to find a willing model. Bedtime bear had to suffice. I found the hat pattern here

The only problem I found with the hat was that the ears were very heavy and didn't want to stand up because they are double, but I guess it won't matter because babies generally lay down.

Stay tuned for more knitting excellence!
